The Best Food I've Had Traveling

Food is half the reason I travel. Here are the meals that changed me.

New York Pizza

There's a reason people argue about this. A proper New York slice — thin crust, perfect char, that fold — is a religious experience. My go-to: Joe's Pizza in the Village.

Texas BBQ

Twelve hours in a smoker. That's it. That's the secret. Franklin's in Austin had me waiting 4 hours in line and I'd do it again tomorrow.

Street Food in Seoul

Tteokbokki from a street cart at 2am in Myeongdong. Spicy, chewy, cheap, perfect. Korea's street food scene is unmatched.

Fish Tacos in Cabo

Fresh catch, a squeeze of lime, and a corn tortilla. Simple is best.

The best meals aren't in fancy restaurants. They're the ones you stumble into — tired, hungry, in a place you've never been.
